Guadalupe River Information
The Guadalupe is OPEN and Rio Raft is the perfect spot for winter fishing or float trips. Rafts, inflatable canoes and kayaks are available daily at Rio Raft - group discounts , cottages, RV hookups all on River Road and the Guadalupe River.
Be sure to check with a reputable outfitter before entering the river- water conditions vary with flow releases from Canyon Lake. Even at lower flows, caution is always advised - wearing life vests, wearing river shoes, sandals or even old tennis shoes, having protection from the sun are all important elements to having an enjoyable day on the river.
Size restrictions on coolers don't apply on this section of the river and the disposable container ban will only be on the Comal River and the Guadalupe River inside the city limits of New Braunfels. Of course, always use trash bags and never bring glass on the rivers. Our rivers are a wonderful natural resource - let's keep them clean!

Guadalupe River kayaking and rafting is fine on our stretch of river from FM 306 to the 4th Crossing. We have day use river access for fishing and are a lease area for Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited. Trout Stockings started November 19th - more were stocked last week so come on out.
The 4th Annual Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited Troutfest will be held on February 25th-26th here at Rio Raft - free admission both days - (reservation only dinner/auction will be held on Friday the 24th).
