River Equipment Rental Rates

Rio Raft provides 2 to 6 hour float trips on the Guadalupe River below Canyon Dam and has several trips available according to river levels, age of group and choice of equipment. All rentals include shuttles either upstream for a float back to our resort or at higher flows, we have several downstream takeout points.

Tube rentals include a shuttle upstream to one of two put-in points on the popular Tube Loop providing a great float back to our resort at the 4th Crossing Bridge. This is the same section of river for our 2-3 hour boat trips - there is an option, depending on river flow and time available, for a boat trip that starts just below Canyon Dam for a small additional fee.

All persons accessing the river are subject to a $1.00 per person Water Oriented Recreation District fee which goes toward clean-ups, law enforcement, signage and safety issues on the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. Rental fees are subject to State sales tax of 8.25%.

No glass or polystyrene is allowed on the lake or river and no pets are allowed in Rio equipment. If you do not swim, do not go. We provide lifevests with all boat rentals and they are provided upon request for tube rentals.
River Tips: wear river shoes, water sandals or old tennis shoes for protection. Bring water and snacks, protection from the sun (hat, sunscreen, etc.). We have all the above items at our store.
Alcoholic beverages are allowed (no glass) and there are no size restrictions on ice chests. Please remember to drink responsibly and do not litter - we provide free mesh trash bags with all rentals.
